Never Underestimate a Child's Sophistication

At Foxley Atelier, we believe in teaching children to create meaningful masterpieces with professional grade tools and materials. Each blossoming artist works on their own unique piece, over the course of several weeks, in their chosen medium, at their own unique pace. Instruction is individualized, and as the Instructor moves about the room she gently guides, encourages, and teaches technique. Working case by case, and challenge by challenge, we allow students time to experiment, while giving them direction in order to enhance their technique, their individual capability, and find their own unique creative voice.

CLASSES

About our classes

Classes are held Monday - Friday during the school year, with additional workshops and events available separately year round.

We keep each class size small, so every student has easy access to instructor direction. Classes are 1 hour long.

Buying a membership allows you to access the studio for a one hour class once a week. Just check the calendar for a class you like and come to which ever day/time you prefer. The studio does have limited capacity, so it is first come first serve. (The busiest days are Thursday and Friday).

Artists are encouraged to try all the mediums and art forms offered at Foxley Atelier and if seats are full in one of the classrooms there is almost always a seat in another.
